When Lapis the sorcerer taunts his new traveling companion, Malady the Mad Dog, by bathing in the nearby lake and warning him not to peek least he suffers the consequences. Malady figures this won't be a problem. But one thing leads to another, and Malady is forced to admit that the vain trickster is more clever than he gave him credit for....
An 14 page (including cover, cast page, and thank you) short comic featuring the characters Malady and Lapis, two magic bastards obnoxiously in love who make it everyone else' problem, at an early stage of their relationship. A goofy good time filled with magic, banter, and people thrown in lakes!

Wow? Omg? I stumbled upon this comic via your Bluesky post about it and it's so cute ... I really love your artstyle and how you're basically only using three colors here. It's super stylish looking. The big panel with the tree (a willow?) had me going "Wow..." to myself. The texture you managed to imbue with your brush gives everything this super unique charm.
I also love Malady and Lapis?? I've only known them for, what, 12 pages and I am already charmed by them. I could gush about this all day tbh. THIS IS PEAK.
