Father Basil knew better than to enter the door to Hell that haunted his village, but when it becomes clear that it's the only way to find his lost friend Sage, then the priest is forced to do the unthinkable.

But instead of arriving in the lands of brimstone and torment he expected, Father Basil finds himself in the Gardens of Malum, a lush flowery estate where demons indulge in their lechery and hedonism. He is soon hunted by strange bloodthirsty demons and, much more to his horror, tempted by the  the shadowy smug demon Dandelion, whose desires for Father Basil extend farther than the priest's soul.

This is Part One of The Temptations of Father Basil, an episodic short story series following Father Basil's search for his lost friend, his explorations of the lands of Hell, and his developing relationship with the strange demon Dandelion. These stories are sexual in nature and should only be read by mature audiences.

Features exhibition sex, blasphemy, and sexualizing priests.

17k words, 14 illustrations. Comes in PDF and EPUB formats.

EDIT: I fixed up the epub version formatting so it's more how I wanted it and it's, well, more readable. Sorry for that folks, I should've paid better attention to that. There are no illustrations other than the cover, but it's readable in e-reading devices.

A lovely beginning! This lays a solid foundation for future fun. Previous knowledge of Ram Lightly's work or characters isn't explicitly necessary, in case you're interested but unsure of if you need to look over previous materials. This is an introduction to Father Basil & Co., so I don't think the reader needs to have devoured Lightly's archive of luscious work beforehand. The writing within this is very tight, focused, and well done. The illustrations within are evocative and lovely (and survived digital formatting; I read via Kindle app). Lightly's exquisite linework back at it again. I'm personally very excited to see where else this tale goes.

a wonderful story, richly imagined and gorgeously illustrated. i’ve been an admirer of ramlightly’s art and characters for a while now, and am so thrilled to have this work for context and my collection. do pick this up if you’re at all interested— you won’t regret it!
